Easy Flower 1

Starting out:

*You will need: Paint Shop Pro 7.0 or higher
*The zip file is here.

Open the Easy Flower file.

Selections will be opened by going to Selections > Load From Alpha Channel

** 01 - Stem and Leaves

  • Highlight layer Stem-Leaves.
  • Load the Stem-Leaves selection.
  • Flood fill with the color #008000.


  • SAME LAYER -- Load the Stem Dark selection.
  • Flood fill with the color #004000.


  • SAME LAYER -- Load the Stem Light selection.
  • Flood fill with the color #00C000.

** 02 - Flower

  • Highlight layer Flower.
  • Load the Flower selection.
  • Flood fill with the color of your choice.
    (I used the color #EBD249 for the yellow flower shown above.)


  • SAME LAYER -- Load the Flower Shade 1 selection.
  • Brightness/Contrast with these settings:
    Brightness: -70 (minus 70) || Contrast: 0


  • SAME LAYER -- Load the Flower Shade 2 selection.
  • Brightness/Contrast - Change the Brightness to 30.


  • SAME LAYER -- Load the Flower Shade 3 selection.
  • Brightness/Contrast - Change the Brightness to 80.


  • SAME LAYER -- Load the Flower Shade 4 selection.
  • Brightness/Contrast - Change the Brightness to -70 (minus 70).


  • SAME LAYER -- Load the Center 1 selection.
  • Flood fill with the color #FFFFFF (White).


  • SAME LAYER -- Load the Center 2 selection.
  • Flood fill with the color you used for your flower.
  • Leave selected and apply the same Brightness/Contrast.
  • Deselect.

Use "colorize" on the flower layer to quickly make several different flowers.
